Riley, as a baby, was never interested in a pacifier. In fact I tried to get her to take one, but she just wouldn’t have anything to do with it…until Lincoln got one. Now we call her our “Nipper Nabber“. Nipper is another name for a pacifier in our house. I’m not quite sure how the word nipper came about, except that I’m pretty sure Ty came up with it. Lincoln LOVES his nipper and and now Riley loves his nippers too. She can be very helpful when it comes to them. If he drops it out of his mouth she will pick it up and put it back in. However, 9 times out of 10 she’ll hear him whine, run over to his bassinet grab his nipper that fell out of his mouth and RUN, hoping I won’t notice!!. She’s quick too.
This afternoon I was trying to do the dishes and Lincoln started crying so I started looking for his nipper so I could finish the dishes. I looked everywhere and noticed that Riley was being awfully quiet so I asked her if she knew where one of his was…this is where I found her…
It may be hard to tell but she has a whole stash of Lincoln’s nippers that she is playing with…
