This is a long time coming, but I want to share our story so you can understand my why behind our family’s journey in transforming our health and wellness.
A little background information about our family! We have 6 kids (almost 7! ages 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, and 2). In 2013, our family had THE worst year of our life as far as sicknesses go. All 4 of my kids were in the hospital with some major illness. We had met our $4,000 out of pocket deductible in June, if that tells you anything. We were sick every week…Literally! By the time one illness went away, another was back with a vengeance! To say it was frustrating is an understatement (we had mrsa, strep, tonsillitis x2, ear infections, febrile seizure bc of a virus, tonsils removed, pneumonia, yeast infections, flu, colds, and so many viruses I can’t even count). I don’t even want to know how much Tylenol/ibuprofen/antibiotics my kids got in the past year. In fact, I counted and we had been to the doctor’s office 89 times that 1 year!
In November of 2013, I decided I was desperate to keep my kids healthy so I took the plunge and decided I’d tried everything, but Young Living essential oils…what could it hurt ?! All I can say is geez, am I mad at myself for not using them sooner!!! 6 years later and we’ve had VERY few (3 maybe?) sick visits and very, very few illnesses. Not bad for a family of almost 9!
Now you know why I’ve been shouting them from the rooftops for the last 6 years. It’s my goal to get Young Living into as many family’s homes as possible so they can see the benefits as well!
