One #homeschoolhack that I learned a long time ago is that if my kiddos are not getting along, are “bored” or misbehaving, all I need to do is sit down and start reading. Doesn’t matter what I’m reading and I don’t need to give them a warning. They will all eventually start to congregate around me, listening intently, crawling on my lap, engrossed in the storyline and asking questions—no matter how young or old, even the teenager gathers around! We haven’t had a vehicle to get out of the house much in 2 weeks and cabin fever is a real thing so it’s been a great way to pass the time. Try it sometime, they’re never too old to be read aloud to! 💕
