Sleepy Riley

So Riley has definitely entered the “baby doll stage”!! Thanks to my mom, who got her her first American Girl Baby Doll for Christmas, she is totally and completely attached. The first thing she does when she wakes up in the morning is she finds her baby and carries it everywhere she goes; feeding her, taking the baby’s clothes off, pushing her in her stroller and of course kissing and hugging it! Her new thing now is that she won’t fall asleep without her baby in the crib with her! I caught a few cute pictures of Riley and her baby when she was asleep. I don’t dare take too many because I don’t want to wake her up. She is precious and I can’t believe how much my little one is growing up-it definitely goes by too quickly!! I wish I could freeze these moments in time!

Riley loves her baby, Thanks Grandma!

Oh and as you can see, Riley likes to fall asleep with her little legs through her crib slots!

She is so precious when she sleeps, we always go in at night to watch her and to see the way she falls asleep because it can be really funny!

  1. Those pictures are precious. You\’ve also made me feel better because I thought I was the only one with the bumpers still on my sons crib when he is 17 months old.Good luck with Baby #2.

  2. Oh thanks so much! Yeah I know, well I feel like she\’s going to knock herself out when she runs around in there if the pads weren\’t still on! I wanted to write you back a while ago, but I can\’t view your blog to do so! Thanks for the comments, good luck to you on baby #2 also!! By the way were you able to get a deal on those diapers? -Shelby

  3. I haven\’t started my own blog, but really enjoy reading yours because I feel like we are kind of in the same situation. My son is 17 months and your daughter Riley is a little younger than Joey. Plus we are both pregnant and stay at home moms. However I am only 21 weeks and 5 days, so you are a bit further along than me.Joey sleep in the corner of his crib curled up in a ball on his stomach and knees, so I am afraid to take his bumpers off because he would then be sleeping right up against the crib rails.Good luck on your new place. Hope you are still feeling better since your hospital visits. Try and take it easy even though you are moving.I got an ok deal on the diapers, nothing like you did. But this was my first experience shopping at CVS even though there is one 5 minutes away from the house lol!

  4. Yes we are in the same situation! 🙂 Actually when I bought those diapers, it was my first time to CVS too. I kept reading the posts on babycheapskate and thought I might as well try it :). Thankfully it worked out well. Although we barely have room for them all.Have you thought of starting a blog?? It\’s nice to keep close friends and family updated :). Although I just started mine.
