Chuck E. Cheese’s

We also took Riley to Chuck E. Cheese’s on Saturday for her little friend, Amaurion Moore’s, 1st birthday party. She had a lot of fun and her and Amaurion always play really well together. We didn’t know if there would be a whole lot for her to do there because it is mostly for older children but they did have a baby section that she had a blast in.

The only thing she didn’t like was Chuck E. Cheese himself. As long as he stayed far enough way she was fine, but the closer he got the clingier she was. Not that we were surprised, she can be the shyest little thing. It takes her a long time to warm up to people.

Whack-A-Mole :)! This was a favorite of Ty’s as a kid too.

Mom, I told you I’m tall enough for the rides…

Riding on the Clifford toy.

  1. Cute! I like the pigtails and the \”pebbles\” look! Glad you guys were able to get out and enjoy some nice weather at the park. Looks like Chuck E Cheese was a hit too! Talk to you soon!

  2. Riley is such a cutie. We took Joey to Chuck E Cheese\’s about a month ago, but they hardley had any little kids things to do or rides. You are lucky to have such a nice Chuck E Cheese. You haven\’t written in your blog in a while, so I am a little worried that you had the baby early. Hope everything is going well! Also, let me know if you are going to formula feed because I still get Enfamil formula checks every once in a while, which I have no use for, and would love to pass along to you. Also, thanks for teaching me a little about CVS a while back. Last week I got a pretty good deal there on diapers for the little ones. I\’ve got about 7-8 weeks till my second little boy is here and I can\’t wait!

  3. Thanks so much for the offer–I appreciate it a lot! I\’ll keep you posted but as of right now I\’m not planning on bottle feeding, but I suppose you never know! Thank you. You\’re getting close to your due date too, are you ready??I\’m glad you\’re still able to get good deals at CVS, we moved and now don\’t have one anywhere close, but I\’ve still got about 65 packs of diapers left, so I am hopefully set for a while :)! Hopefully Riley will be potty trained soon, too. Is Joey potty trained? What are you naming your new little guy?

  4. I was worried about you since you hadn\’t written in your blog recently. It is good to know that everything is okay. Poor Riley with the yeast infection. I think yeast infections are pretty common in young children because when Joey was 15 months his pediatrician noticed that he had yeast in his mouth and I had to put this medicine on the two sides of his mouth and rub it in. So don\’t feel bad.I don\’t think you can ever be completely ready for the new baby. I am just hoping that Joey doesn\’t get too jealous. Joey has been on a bottle because he would never latch on, but it was so important to me that he get breast milk that I pumped all of his milk for the first 9-10 months of his life. Then it got to be too much for me. Anyways, recently I have been trying to get Joey off the bottle before the new baby comes and man is he fighting it.Joey is no where near potty trained. I bought him a potty about 2-3 weeks before you mentioned in your blog that you had bought Riley one, but so far he has just figured out how to take the part you dump apart from the base. It was funny to see that you bought the same potty that I did. Great minds think alike!I am lucky to be having another boy because I saved all of Joey\’s clothes up until now in boxes in the attic, so I hardly need any clothes as a result. However summer clothing may be a slight problem since Joey was born in September when it was starting to get a little chilly. The new babies name is Jonathan Allen King. It was really important to me that his name start with a \”J\” since his daddy\’s does and so does his brother\’s. Joey\’s named after his dad and his grandfather. So Joseph goes a ways back in my husband\’s family. In fact Joey\’s great grandfather was named Joseph as well, but his middle name was one letter different than his grandfather\’s. We think his great grandmother made a mistake when she filled out his granddad\’s birth certificate.I thought I had a lot of diapers right now, but you\’ve got a lot more than me. I have 2 Pampers Newborn boxes of 96 each, 2 Huggies boxes of 4\’s (126), 1 Huggies 4 jumbo pack, 8 Size 1 Huggies packs, and 5 Size 2 Huggies jumbo packs.By the way, do you have a BJ\’s warehouse near you? Because if you do, I want you to think about joining it. I think the membership is around $40 a year, but their deals on stuff, especially baby stuff makes it so worth it. I buy wipes from there all the time Huggies 720 Natural Care ones for usually less than $10 with all the coupons. Plus they mail you out coupons to use too. They also sell baby food when you get to that point where you can get a case of stage 1 gerber food for a pretty good price. I recently got Joey 3 oral b stages Pooh toothbrushes and 2 tubes of toothpaste for under $7 and that will last Joey quite a while.
