Our little Lincoln is 1 month old today, already! How the time flies! I got this idea from the Martha Stewart show to take his picture every month for the first year in a “one year” onesie, so that you can see how much he grows over the course of the year. So we designated this onesie to be it–come to find out he almost fills it out. So I’m not quite sure how well this little “project” will work…it is still too big for him right now, but I’ll be surprised if he still fits in it when he’s one.
Lincoln also had his one-month check up with Dr. Weiderhold. He looks very healthy…and CHUBBY. He already weighs 10 lbs. 12 oz. which is in the 95th percentile! He is such a great baby, I cannot emphasize it enough. He rarely cries and ever since we brought him home from the hospital he has only woken up once a night to nurse. He smiled for the first time on May 26th when he was almost 3 weeks old and when he is awake is has a constant smile on his face. It is the cutest little smile ever–crooked and big (just like his sister’s).
He is probably one of the most laid back babies I’ve ever seen, not high maintenance at all. He loves being held and especially loves falling asleep on my chest or in my arms. I think I could hold him 24-7 and once Riley goes to bed, I pick him up (even when he’s asleep) and hold him the entire night!
We are so thankful for a healthy, happy baby and are so lucky to have him as a part of our family. What a blessing he has been. Already in the last month he has brought so much joy to our lives–my life wouldn’t be complete without him.

Yeah, that onsie is NOT going to fit him 11 months from now….probably not even a couple months from now! He is a BIG boy…so cute though w/ those chubby cheeks! 🙂

What a cutie! 🙂 I am SOOOO GLAD for you that he is sleeping so well. Doesn\’t it make such a huge difference when you feel well-rested? If you\’re like me, it\’s great, but I just need to find the time to clean my house! 🙂
