Here is Lincoln on his 2 month birthday!! I know I say this every month, but man has it FLOWN! He had a doctor’s appointment today which went great…expect the shots, but I’ll get to that! He is a growing boy. He now weighs 12 lbs. 13 oz! (75 %ile) and is 22.75 inches long (45 %ile) and his head is 15.8 inches (80 %ile). He’s up almost 3.5 lbs since birth. The MD was very happy with his progress. She also said he’s progressing physically very well. He’s doing everything most babies his age should be doing: smiling, holding his head, cooing (which is the greatest!) and following objects. She was also impressed that he’s sleeping through the night! Now the nasty part…
HE GOT 6 SHOTS (and had to drink some liquid stuff, that I’m sure was nasty)!!! Holy cow! I swear they’ve upped it since Riley was born. POOR baby, I always feel so horrible when they get shots even though I know it’s best for them. I definitely cried too. His poor little face was so red and his leg was bleeding…the nurse poked too hard (I think.). But I nursed him right after and he calmed right down and went to sleep. He was such a trooper! He’s doing great now, once the Tylenol kicked in. Although he does let out some fierce screams at times, like his little chubby legs hurt!
I love this little guy so much and can’t imagine what life would be without him. It’s crazy how much I have fallen for Riley and Lincoln and how much Ty and I are wrapped around their little fingers (just don’t tell them that). I can’t wait to see what the next month has in store for us and see what new tricks Lincoln will accomplish.

He is so cute Shelby and getting so big! 🙂 Yes–they get SO many shots and the liquid stuff. Kerith got all of that and it was so hard to see them get so many..one is bad enough! I hope his legs start feeling better soon!!

I just wanted to let you know about a book that I read called, \”What your doctor will NOT tell you about your child\’s vaccines.\” It is a SUPER good read…and very informative. It\’s just about an alternative vaccine schedule (and those that this particular dr. feels should be avoided all together). I am not anti-vaccine…just wanted to let you know that it\’s a great read. If you\’re interested, I\’ll drop in the mail to you. 🙂 Keep that little man growing. It\’s amazing!! 🙂 Love you, girl.
