Lincoln’s 1st Cereal

Well, Lincoln has entered into the world of Rice Cereal…already.

I took him to the lactation specialist again because he keeps crying after I finish nursing, I was still concerned that I wasn’t making enough milk for him because of it. Well, I got there and when Cindy (the lactation specialist) came in she asked what the problem was and I said “I’m not sure if Lincoln is getting enough to eat because…” She took one look at him and said “I can guarantee he’s getting enough from you” (because of his chubbiness). Anyways, they weighed him before I nursed him and then afterwards and she said that he’s definitely getting enough according to how much milk he’d taken, she said that he’s just such a big boy that he needs to start cereal. That’s also why he’s waking up 2-3 times a night now!! Oh by the way, he weighed 14 lbs. 10 oz!

So, Friday we began!! We had gone home for Labor Day and stayed at Ty’s Grandma’s house…this is how it went. He’s obviously not sitting up yet since he’s only 3 and a half months, so into his car seat he went. It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost 4 months and he’s lived solely off of my milk. I’m thankful for how he’s growing and that he’s so healthy and am hoping that the cereal helps him sleep through the night again, I’m starting to get really exhausted!

He has no idea what’s coming…
