Well, last week didn’t quite go as planned and this week will probably be even worse. Ty works every night until 7:00pm or later, except on Thursday which is when I have a get-together with my M.O.P.S group, so I’ll be gone. I’m still not that great at making dinner, entertaining a 2-year old and holding a 4 month old all at the same time, probably wouldn’t be too safe. So we’ll see…
Monday: Hamburgers on the grill, Twice baked potatoes, Corn on the cob
Tuesday: Spaghetti, Meatballs and Garlic Bread (the second week in a row I didn’t get to this; 3rd time’s a charm???)
Wednesday: Grilled Brats, Scalloped potatoes, peas
Thursday: Ty’s night to cook for himself and Riley (so probably oatmeal or cereal :)).
Friday: Garage sale night, so probably PB&J and mixed veggies for Ri and whatever we can find.
Saturday: Angel hair chicken pasta (Yup, didn’t get to this one either…)
Sunday: Homemade Chicken Pot-Pie (LOVE IT), Parmesan knots
Do any of you have any great recipes I should try?? Let me know, send me the link or leave me a comment of what it is. I’m always trying to find something new to fit into our “rotation”!

I cook spaghettie a lot becuase it is easy! I brown my meat and then put everything in the crock pot and cook it on low for the whole day and it is great!! I also do that with roast and ham! My sister cooks her country ribs in her crock pot with barbbeque sause!!! You can cook almost everything in a crockpot!!

I normally do really well, but was too busy to plan a menu and get the needed groceries this weekend. So, as I was making dinner tonight I jotted down our menu. Main dishes include burgers (tonight), Bruschetta Chicken Bake (has tomatoes, not sure you\’d like), steaks (didn\’t get to those last week), brown sugar meatloaf (I know..but Corey can make it), and maybe order a pizza. Then add some type of veggies/potatoes/rolls for each meal and voila!! Not to mention the bananna bread that is in the oven and the carrot cake I have to make for work! 🙂 Never ending…

do you guys like ham? i get a package of pre-cooked ham steaks and put them in a pan (to heat them) and i\’ll pour some CokaCola to add a sweetend (and good) flavor to it. I\’ll then make some instant potatoes and a canned veggie. It\’s fast and easy, and the best part…takes 5 minutes to cook!I completely know what you mean about missing a meal for 2-3 weeks! I make a week and a half of meals, and it takes 2-3 weeks before we\’ve gotten to them all!

I want to recipe for your homeade chicken pot pie! I\’ve been craving that lately! Please post!!I do most of my cooking in the afternoon while Tanner is sleeping. I love casseroles or crockpot dishes that you can make ahead of time! That way, not only is dinner already put together during that fussy dinner hour, but all the prep dishes are washed and put away and we can eat in a CLEAN kitchen! YESS!!Oh yeah … we have lots of waffles, pancakes, eggs, etc — totally quick, easy, and CHEAP!!
