Lincoln @ 10 months

My sweet Lincoln is 10 months already, I can’t believe it!! When I took him for his latest doctor’s appointment he weighed 17 lbs. 12 oz. (less than 5th %ile) and was 28.25 inches (25th %ile). I can’t believe he hasn’t even doubled his birth weight (as you know, he was 9 lbs. 6 oz at birth); The doctor said babies usually double their birth weight by 6 months and triple it by 1 year, nope, that’s not happening. In fact, Riley at age 2 didn’t even triple her birth weight. Our kids just aren’t going to be big kids, but they didn’t seem concerned about his weight. Plus, I don’t think he looks skinny, actually he looks chunky to me :).

He still has 2 teeth which I’m fine with since I’m still nursing!! I can see the top two teeth coming in, so I’m hoping that’s why he’s not sleeping well and once those come in I hope he goes back to his normal sleeping schedule! He also is pulling himself up to standing and he’s eating mostly all table food and is feeding himself. He army crawls still, but he probably won’t crawl on hands and knees ever. I’m thinking he’ll go right to walking! He’s quite the momma’s boy still and I LOVE it. He doesn’t have stranger anxiety too bad, nothing like Riley had!! He also loves playing with Riley and in her room and crawling (aka tackling) all over her.
