Just Peachy!

Have I ever mentioned that my kids could (or would, if I let them) live off of fruit? Ty took them to visit his family while I got a much needed break on Sunday. I took my “little” (she’s 14) sister back-to-school shopping at the Michigan City Outlet Mall (where I actually did most of the shopping!!!) and he took them to the farm. While there they went “peach picking”. They both love peaches, but I’ve never handed one to Lincoln whole. Ty did…and Lincoln LOVED it! Check out this video. He’s really digging in!

  1. ughhh! You're so lucky your kids love fruit! Maeve likes bananas & apples. But she won't eat a lot of them- like if I give her a banana she'll eat half of it and then be done. Drives me crazy!!! BTW- I was just thinking- didn't you throw Riley a ladybug birthday last year? Maeves party was a ladybug party too! HAHA we DO think alike!

  2. haha, fruit is like candy to the kids. Riley begs for a \”shake\” every day! A shake = a fruit smoothie, fruit, yogurt and milk :). I think I'm depriving them of candy :).Yes, I did do a ladybuys theme last year :)…actually it was \”bugs\” (the cute kind), but mostly ladybugs. πŸ™‚ Any great ideas for her polka dot theme?? I've got most of it planned, but I'm still trying to come up with some good ideas!

  3. ugh I haven't done a ton of thinking as far as details go- I was just thinking that I was going to make some \”dot\” cookies- have you ever made the funfetti cookies from the box? They are AMAZING- kids love them and they're adorable. I'm going to do those- but instead of rolling them into 1-2 inch balls I'm going to make them smaller so they're like little polka dots..
