Ty got the chance, while we were in Michigan for a week, to go to Washington D.C. over the New Year’s weekend with his best friend, Luke. As much as I would have loved to have gone too, I knew the kids wouldn’t have been thrilled about sight-seeing, so I am glad Ty was able to go anyways and have a good time! They literally went everywhere, I couldn’t believe all the sights they saw in two days. They were busy! I love that my husband has many wonderful and strong friendships. I think it is so important for him to have his “guy time” and have a break from work and family for a little while!
We’re only about 5.5 hours from D.C now and since we’re closer to the east now hopefully we can visit some of what the East Coast has to offer!

Shelby – if you go into edit your list – like you were going to add someone, there should be an option at the top that says Show: Title of recent blog….. if not you have the wrong list-type and you'll need to search for the right kind… I had to walk Jennie through the same thing…. Try that if it doesn't work I'll help you find the other kind of list later…. got to go to work. thanks for the compliment though!
