Saving while shopping!

Okay people, I’ve gotten far too many emails and comments to ignore you any longer! πŸ™‚

I’ve posted many deals on my blog and each time I do, I’m always asked…how do you do it?! I don’t want to post deals without telling you all my secrets, so that’s what I plan to do over the next few posts so you can do it too. I am NO expert by any means, but I have been doing it long enough to give you a few hints and point you in the right direction to get you started.

My question to you and what I need from you is, which grocery stores do you shop at? Also, what questions do you have for me? I’d love to answer a bunch in my next posts (it will give me some direction too). If I don’t get much of a response I won’t keep writing these posts because I’ll know no one is interested, don’t worry I won’t be offended :). I’ll try to break it down simply for you and hopefully you can start saving too!

  1. I shop at Meijer mostly, or the local supermarket Marsh. My questions for you are…-Can you use the same coupon multiple times for the same product? For example, I have 50 cents off 2 jars of spaghetti. Can I use two coupons for that?-What are your best strategies for finding coupons…what websites do you use, if any?-Maybe tell us your process from looking through ads, finding coupons, to checking out at the store.

It was so neat to see the baby's leg in the one picture. :-)I would love to read your posts on couponing, etc. As you know, you got me hooked to begin with … but I'm nowhere near the weekly/monthly budget you have. I'd love to know how you spend so little. πŸ™‚ Thanks girl!!

  6. Do you use any website as tools to help you find the deals? If so, what are they?I know that websites for CVS and Walgreens like iheartwags.com and iheartcvs.com can help you find where good deals are at those stores.

  7. I shop at Crest (local grocery store), but we also have 3 super walmarts, and 2 super targets that i occasionally shop at too. i usually find that when i get coupons, i spend MORE money because i'll buy things that i don't technically need right away just to get the deal. help me!! my grocery bill needs it!

  9. I lost your email address… so send me an email with yours so we can keep in touch! So much has gone on since we last emailed each other! I am so happy you all are having a third baby and have to say that going from 2 to 3 is not all that big of a deal. Plus yours will be spread out a little more than mine are in terms of ages.j.king72@comcast.net
