My Dad arrived in Chicago Tuesday night and headed to NorthWestern early Wednesday morning for his surgery. He had to be there around 5am and had another MRI before the surgery. I don’t know all the details quite yet, but I know the important part: the surgery went VERY well. The surgeon was able to remove the entire tumor and he does not feel like there will be any motor skill deficits as an effect of the surgery either! What an answer to our prayers! Today, Dad is still in the ICU but I was able to speak to him briefly this morning! What an awesome thing it was to speak with him and know that he’s doing well. What a relief. He will be in the hospital for about 5 days, while there they will biopsy the tumor to determine if it is benign or malignant. Lets pray it is benign!
Thank you all again for your thoughts and prayers. I know God has heard them all and the support has meant a lot to me and our family!

Glad to hear the surgery went well! Last month my moms doctor discovered a tumor in her bladder that was malignant. However, they found it and removed it before it was able to metastasize. The power of prayer is amazing and I will continue to pray for a wonderful outcome for your dad! God is good!!!
