I’m pretty sure the past month my “nesting” before the baby comes has turned into doing projects…rather than cleaning! Poor Ty, many of “my” projects turned into “his” projects…since I can’t paint or stain anything.
I don’t really consider myself a “crafty” person per se, however, being the perfectionist that I am, I can copy and follow instructions really well :). I could never come up with this stuff on my own, but if the plans are laid out for me I can usually do it.
I got most of the ideas from pinterest and love how they turned out!! Here are a few of the projects I’ve been working on the past month:
This is probably a weird quirk of mine, but I HATE when the sponge and dish soap are sitting out on the sink. However, I also hate putting it under the sink and having to get them out 50 times a day. I used a candle stick holder and a wooden bowl to make a holder for the sponge and used mason jars with soap pumps to hold the dish soap and hand soap! I think it turned out well. To me, it looks so much better than having it all sitting out and it’s functional!
Centerpiece box for the table. This was really easy to make and I love the versatility to it. For the fall I have it filled with gourds (I need to get more), for Christmas I thought it’d be cute filled with ornaments.

Wow – those are all great projects – great work!!

Good work! They all look great. Try scented pinecones for winter. I use cinnamon and the whole house smells yummy.
