39 down, 1 to go!

 

Here is my 39 week belly picture. Holy cow, I’m huge. I feel relatively good, unless I have to walk or sit or move, really. Let me be completely honest with you…I’m pretty much miserable unless I’m not moving. I feel good, but anytime I walk it’s seriously painful! Maybe it’s because I get so big or maybe it’s just because I’m 9 months pregnant. I’m trying HARD not to complain, yet be real with you all. I had my 39 week appt. on Friday. Baby looks great still. She’s very low, but I’m not dilated at all (which doesn’t surprise me one bit, I never am before I go into labor).

 

I’ve put on 33 lbs so far. Not too bad, 35 is about my “usual”. The doctor doesn’t seem to think she’s coming really soon and she said she’d let me go a week and a half over due before they induce. I was actually really surprised she said that, knowing how big my babies get. She doesn’t seem to think this little girl is huge, but I’m not as convinced. I really don’t want to be induced, but also don’t want to end up having a c-section because the baby is so big. Hoping we can making the right decision for me and for the baby. I think we’ve come up with and settled on a name for this sweet babe, but really haven’t discussed a middle name yet.

 

I’m nervous, yet feel at peace, with adding this baby to our family. I know it’s going to be a lot of work having 4 small children while homeschooling along with doing all the other wifely and motherly duties. I also feel really great about having a newborn in the house again, I love having a newborn. (I just don’t look forward to the lack of sleep) Ty will be taking a week and a half off of work and I look forward to that time with him home. He’s always such a great help with the older kids, especially.
